These terms apply to the use of the techworks.ro website and to the commercial relationship with TECHWORKS INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS SRL for the equipment and services presented on the website. Please read them before sending a request or placing an order.

2. Definitions
- Site – the techworks.ro website, with its technical catalogue, documentation and forms.
- Client – the legal entity, authorised self-employed person or individual who sends a request or places an order. A Client acting outside their professional activity has the status of consumer, within the meaning of the law.
- Request – a request for a quote, pump replacement, service or contact sent via the website, email or phone.
- Quote – the technical and commercial proposal issued by Techworks in response to a request, setting out the equipment, prices, lead times and applicable conditions.
- Order – the Client’s firm, written acceptance of a quote.
- Contract – the agreement between Techworks and the Client, made up of the quote, the accepted order, these terms and, where applicable, a contract signed by the parties.
3. Role of the website
The website is a technical catalogue and a contact channel. No products are sold with online payment through the website and no prices are displayed. The published technical data (flow rate, head, pressure, temperature, dimensions) are generally the maximum values for the series, taken from the manufacturer’s documentation, and are for information only. The exact size, materials, motor and accessories are set out in the quote, based on the application data. Images may show a design variant different from the one quoted.
4. Requests and quotes
4.1. A request sent via the website is not an order and does not bind either party.
4.2. The quote is based on the data provided by the Client (duty point, fluid, temperature, installation conditions, etc.). The Client is responsible for the accuracy of this data. If the data changes, the quote may be revised.
4.3. Prices are those stated in the quote, in lei or euro, excluding VAT, unless the quote states otherwise. The quote is valid for the period stated in it.
5. Orders and conclusion of the contract
5.1. The contract is concluded when the Client accepts the quote in writing (a firm order sent by email or a signed document) and Techworks confirms the order.
5.2. Specific conditions in the quote or in a signed contract take precedence over these terms.
5.3. For equipment manufactured or configured to order, Techworks may request an advance payment, as set out in the quote.
6. Invoicing and payment
Invoices are issued in accordance with tax legislation, including through the national RO e-Factura system for corporate clients. Payment is made by bank transfer, within the terms stated in the quote or invoice. Late payment may incur penalties, if the quote or contract provides for them.
7. Delivery and acceptance
Lead times, costs and delivery method are those stated in the quote. Details on delivery, acceptance and returns can be found in the Delivery and returns policy. Risk in the goods passes to the Client on handover. Ownership transfers after full payment, unless the parties have agreed otherwise.
8. Warranty
8.1. The equipment is new, comes directly from the manufacturer or through authorised channels and is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, under the conditions set out in the warranty certificate and the technical documentation.
8.2. The warranty applies if the equipment has been stored, installed, commissioned and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and within the parameters for which it was selected. The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts, or damage caused by improper installation, operation outside the duty point, fluids or conditions different from those declared, or unauthorised work.
8.3. For consumers, the legal guarantee of conformity provided by Government Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021 also applies.
8.4. Warranty claims should be sent to contact@techworks.ro, stating the equipment serial number, a description of the fault and, if possible, photographs.
9. Right of withdrawal (consumers only)
A consumer who concludes a distance contract has the right to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving a reason, in accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014. The right of withdrawal does not apply to products configured to the Client’s specifications or manufactured to order. Clients acting for professional purposes have no right of withdrawal. Returns may only be made under the conditions set out in the Delivery and returns policy.
10. Liability
The information on the website is general and does not replace a technical selection for the specific application. Techworks is not liable for choices made solely on the basis of information on the website, without a confirmed quote. In relations with professional clients, Techworks’ liability is limited to the value of the order concerned and does not include indirect losses (for example lost production or lost profit), to the extent permitted by law.
11. Intellectual property
The texts, structure and graphic elements of the website belong to Techworks. The trademarks, logos, images and documentation of KSB, Prediktis, ifm and Bosch Rexroth belong to their respective owners and are used in our capacity as distributor or partner. Reproduction of the content without written consent is prohibited.
12. Personal data and cookies
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy, and the use of cookies in the Cookie policy.
13. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform its obligations caused by force majeure, as provided by law. The affected party notifies the other party as soon as possible and takes steps to limit the effects.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. The parties will first try to settle any disagreement amicably. Failing an amicable settlement, disputes with professional clients are settled by the competent courts at Techworks’ registered office. Consumers may also contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (anpc.ro) or use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
15. Changes
Techworks may update these terms. For an order, the version in force on the date the quote is accepted applies.
