This policy explains which cookies are used by the techworks.ro website, operated by TECHWORKS INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS SRL (CUI RO49426867), and how you can control your choice, in accordance with Law no. 506/2004 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser to remember information between pages or between visits. We use necessary cookies without consent, because without them the site does not work properly. We use analytics and marketing cookies only after you accept them.
Cookies we use
Necessary (always active)
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| fazcookie-consent | Stores your cookie choice (FAZ Cookie Manager) | 180 days |
| twb_rfq | Keeps the list of products added to the quote request | 30 days |
| wordpress_*, wp-settings-* | Login and preferences, for site administrators only | session / up to 1 year |
Analytics (consent only)
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| twb_src | Techworks | Records the source of the first visit (campaign or referring site), so we know which channel brought in a request | 90 days |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google (via Google Tag Manager) | Visitor statistics: pages visited, duration, device type | up to 2 years |
Marketing (consent only)
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au, _gcl_aw | Google Ads | Measuring conversions from Google Ads campaigns (for example a quote request sent after an ad) | 90 days |
| IDE, test_cookie | Google (doubleclick.net) | Measuring and limiting how often ads are shown | up to 13 months |
Until you make a choice, the site does not load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics or Google Ads and does not send any data to Google. We use Google Consent Mode v2: if you refuse, Google tags remain disabled.
How to control your choice
- On your first visit you choose in the banner: “Accept all”, “Reject all” or “Settings”, where you can enable analytics and marketing separately.
- You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page, or from the cookie icon in the corner of the page.
- Every choice is recorded in the site's consent log (date, consent ID, categories chosen, anonymised IP address and page) and kept for 24 months as proof of consent.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, the quote request list will not work.
